Question 1: What help can I get?
Community Care Services are designed with the aim of meeting your changing needs as you get older. You might need help with daily tasks that you can no longer manage or you might need help to stay connected to your community. For example, you might need help with:
· shopping and bill paying, outings, friendly visiting
· social support groups
· domestic assistance and spring cleaning
· home maintenance (such as changing light bulbs or smoke alarm batteries)
· gardening (such as pruning, weeding, yard tidying up)
· transport
· personal care
· nursing assistance
· in-home respite
· home modifications
· meal preparation
All services are aimed to assist you to stay in your own home as well as to stay connected to your community.
